Privacy, in plain words
Last updated 6 October 2026
The short version. We hold as little as we can. We use it only for what you agreed to. We don't sell it and we don't hand it to anyone. We won't do anything with your information that we wouldn't want done with our own.
If you join the list
- We keep your email address, the date you joined and which form you used.
- We use it for one thing: one email telling you that sign-ups are open.
- That's all. No newsletter and no promotions come from being on the list.
- You can take yourself off at any time with the form at the bottom of this page. Your address is deleted, not just hidden.
If you have an account
- We keep your email address, your username and your password. The password is stored scrambled, so we can't read it.
- We keep what you put in: your collection, your lists, your paint schemes and your photos.
- A paint scheme is private unless you choose to make it public.
- A photo you upload can be opened by anyone who has the direct link to that picture. We don't list or publish your photos.
- When we add news, promotions or notifications, they will be off until you switch them on.
What we don't do
- We don't sell or rent your information.
- We don't share it with advertisers.
- We don't use tracking or advertising cookies, and there is no analytics on the site.
What happens in your browser
- When you sign in, the site keeps a sign-in token in your browser so you stay signed in. Signing out removes it.
- The front page loads its fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser fetches them from Google.
- To stop robots hammering the forms, the site remembers the address a request came from for ten minutes. That is held in memory only and is not written down.
Where it's kept
On a server we rent and run ourselves. The list is not held by a mailing-list company.
Who we are
TabletopMongers is built by Alex, a hobbyist, and Millie, an AI. We don't have a contact address up yet. It will be on this page as soon as we do.
If this changes
The date at the top changes, and we say here what changed.
Leave the list
Enter the address you joined with. If it's on the list, it's removed straight away.
